Rachel's Table has been a partner and an invaluable resource to Providence Ministries Service Network for many years. Its annual foodraiser, gleaning projects, and daily deliveries allow us to feed the many who come to our doors in great need at both Kate's Kitchen and Margaret's Pantry on a regular basis.Karen M. Blanchard, Executive Director, Providence Ministries Service Network
Participating in the Rachel’s Table Teen Board was one of the greatest things I did in high school and middle school. The Teen Board instilled in me a great passion for community service and provided me with opportunities that I never would’ve had otherwise. I got to be the chair of a 5k that raised $30,000, I got to be on TV more times than I can count, and I got to see the Teen Board grow from its beginnings as a small group of kids (mostly from Longmeadow) to a group of more than 60 people from all over Western Mass. Moving forward in life, I plan on continuing to do community service, and my time on the Teen Board will always be on my mind.Max Rubin – Past President, RT Teen Board; LHS 2015
Rachel's Table is an incredible organization and a blessing for our community. The Gray House is so grateful for the regular donations of bread, the amazing donations of apples and fresh vegetables from their farm gleaning program, and the special donations of milk and protein items. The dedication of Rachel's Table staff and volunteers is impressive and their efforts truly make a difference.--Dena Calvanese, Executive Director, The Gray House, Inc.
The Rachel’s Table Teen Board partners with Sodexo at the Holyoke Public Schools by donating thousands of pounds of food, assisting in filling backpacks to send to homeless students, and continuing to raise donations - both monetary and food. The Weekend Backpack program provides nutritious food to students who otherwise have little or no access to food during the weekends. It is a great privilege for Sodexo and the Holyoke Public Schools to work with a group of young adults that care so much about the well-being of others. We cannot thank them enough for their continued support and generosity to our program and without them, we would not be able to fill as many backpacks for the students.Keri Pinard, Chef Manager, Food & Nutrition Services Holyoke Public Schools
